Mezza Manica

With its typical short tubular shape, the Mezze Maniche (half sleeve) takes its origins in central Italy. Due to its particular resemblance to the ends of the clothes worn by priests in the summer season it is also known by the name “friar’s sleeve”.

THE FIRST GLUTEN-FREE PASTA DRAWN IN GOLD

GlutiNiente stands out for the production process:

  • gold drawing that stresses the dough less and gives ideal porosity and excellent permeability to the condiments;
  • slow drying at low temperatures, as in the best tradition, which preserves the nutritional properties, enhancing the flavor and aroma.

HOW TO PREPARE MEZZE MANICHE

As suggested by the shape, this gold-drawn pasta is ideal for more elaborate dishes, including baked pies. The use of Mezze Maniche is a must for any combination, be it fish or meat, and the condiments adhere well to the outside and inside of the pasta.
